Trakwyse comes from Milta Accounting Services — built to answer one question honestly: where did the workday actually go? Now it's a complete platform for any organization that wants the same clarity.
Like a lot of growing teams, we needed a straightforward answer to a simple question: where did the workday actually go? Spreadsheets didn't scale past a handful of people, and the monitoring tools we looked at treated idle time as something to quietly hide rather than report honestly. Neither felt right for how we wanted to run things — so we built our own.
What started as Milta's own internal system is now a complete workforce management platform — time tracking, attendance, client timesheets, and analytics, available cloud-hosted or on infrastructure you manage yourself.
Every principle behind Trakwyse comes from actually using it ourselves first — not from guessing what a workforce management product should look like from the outside.
Milta Accounting Services is an outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, and financial services firm serving small and mid-sized businesses across all 50 U.S. states, operating from Coimbatore, India. Running a distributed, offshore-facing accounting practice means our own team's hours, attendance, and client-billable time need to be tracked with the same precision we bring to our clients' books — Trakwyse is the tool we built to do exactly that, now offered to other organizations with the same need.
Idle time gets counted, not quietly discarded to make a report look better than reality. A number you can't trust isn't worth having.
Employee activity data is sensitive, whatever the deployment. Cloud-hosted or on infrastructure you manage yourself, the choice — and the control — stays with your organization.
Real teams have real hierarchies — a lead here, a plain member there. Permissions should model that, not force everyone into one flat role.
Happy to answer questions about deployment, data handling, or anything else.
